It Was Either Landscape or Pressure Washing
Filed under (Uncategorized) by ftd09 @ 07:13 pm

We had a budget to spend on our home last year. We wanted to make some much needed home improvements. We knew setting aside a budget and sticking to it would be a wise decision. Most of the upgrades we wanted to make were going to take place outside of the house. We came down to two projects left after we some deciding and figuring out what goals we wanted from our home.

It was between a landscape upgrade or a pressure washing Indiana company cleaning up the house and property. We had never had the house pressure washed before but knew it needed it. Finally we decided to have the house washed along with the roof, wooden deck, and all the cement for a complete property maintenance upgrade. We were extremely excited about the difference it would make.

The pressure washing Indiana contractor was fairly priced but we wanted to get a lot done. After he was finished we could not believe the overall difference that all those services made. Our street appeal went up ten fold. Almost every single Indiana neighbor commented or mentioned something about our pressure washing project while it was being done or after seeing the results, they wanted the same type of service. Our home appearance was so much better than before that it definitely increased the value of our home.

We were more than happy with how everything came out. The deck was fabulous as was the house. The roof was completely restored as it was previously suffering from black streaks known as roof algae. The concrete looked like it had been freshly poured. We have been told that our house is probably worth more now after the pressure washing Indiana services and we could not agree more. Maybe next spring we will get the upgrade landscape project complete but for now we are more than happy with what we had done. We highly recommend a professional power washing Indiana service for a home improvement project.

For a Change of Pace Try a Picnic
Filed under (Uncategorized) by MidWestPro @ 10:58 pm

With living in such a busy fast paced world we forget to pay attention to the little things and to stop and enjoy life once in a while. For guys looking for a great romantic statement for your significant other, let me remind you of a wonderful past time you may have forgotten about. A nice relaxing picnic somewhere peaceful and serene. Remember when people would go on picnics with the blanket, picnic basket, and whole nine yards? I know, I almost forgot about them too.

That’s what makes it great, it is a forgotten past time that not many people do anymore. Normally a night out is dinner somewhere usually and extremely expensive. But try a lunch or early dinner picnic for a change of pace and to put some romance back into your lives. Nowadays, you can even purchase romantic picnic baskets that will really impress her, beside you actually making the lunch yourself.

Picnics are definitely cheaper than other forms of entertainment and are not that difficult to set up. With nice big picnic baskets, you can take the comforts and conveniences of your indoor kitchen supplies with you with no problem what so ever. She will enjoy having the comforts of home while eating outdoors and will all easily fit into the huge picnic baskets that are on the market today. Shop around and find the picnic baskets and supplies you need and then come up with a great location that is somewhat private and where you have permission to be of course.

Then watch the weather and give her a few days notice. Just tell her you are taking her out to lunch on whatever day you plan and have your food prepared and your blanket and picnic basket ready to go and you will be the most romantic guy ever.

Rain Barrels Are a Great Way To Conserve Water
Filed under (Uncategorized) by MidWestPro @ 08:36 pm

A lot of people give lip service to the topic of eco-friendly and being green. With global warming and all the concern with the environment we all have to find ways to conserve energy. Doing little things around the house will save you money in the long run. They have a geothermal heating and cooling systems now and wind mills for generating electricity. Both of these are becoming increasingly popular with home owners.

Adding these things to a new home is one thing but some may not want to tear up their existing yard or re-work existing structures to add these energy saving systems. But you can still do little things that will make a difference. More and more people are adding rain barrels to their home’s gutters and down spouts.

A rain barrel will catch anywhere from 38 to 250 gallons of rain water that can then be used to water the landscaping, shrubs, and flowers. This will drastically cut down on your water usage. Even if you have a sprinkler system you can just turn down the time duration that it runs or turn it off completely. Other uses for the rain water could be to wash the car or your pet. Adding a few rain barrels around the house to catch natural rain water will definitely save you money in the long run, it’s a good investment.

Rain barrels are inexpensive, easy to set up and use, and can even be very decorative. It can give a house a very neat country look or you can buy one that looks more modern. Putting the rain barrel under one of the down spouts that covers a larger part of your roof will yield more water. Rain water can be kept for long periods of time until you can use it.
